Parfums De Marly
I feel quite disappointed. After fragrances like Delina and Valaya, I expected something equally distinctive and memorable. The opening is beautiful, fresh, fruity and very promising… but it only lasts a moment before fading away without a trace. What remains is mainly violet, sharpened by lavender, which on my skin feels closer to a “premium” fabric softener than a niche composition. The base becomes even quieter, a touch of musk and… emptiness. It lacks depth, woodiness, even a hint of patchouli. The whole composition feels unfinished, like a sketch without definition, or a fragrance diluted to its limits. Longevity? More like a high street body mist than a perfume of this calibre, after an hour, it’s practically gone from the skin, leaving only a faint trace on clothing. It’s definitely one for fans of very light, “skin scents”, but if you’re looking for something with character, you’re unlikely to find it here.
