You may be surprised by reading my review on this.. So sorry in advance. Blind buy regret. Instead of creamy almond warmth, I get a rubber balloon / bubble-gum vibe that feels oddly synthetic on my skin. I adore the original Dior Poison EDP — dark, bold, unforgettable. But this version? A hard no. Definitely not a safe blind buy. I strongly recommend testing it on your skin and allowing it to develop before committing to a full bottle. It’s a fragrance that demands personal chemistry — and in my case, it simply didn’t deliver the magic I hoped for.

A subtle and softly oriental vanilla appears in the opening, creating a gentle warmth that feels smooth and inviting. The composition is built from harmoniously blended notes that offer a sensual pleasure to wear, wrapping the skin in a delicate, comforting aura. However, the longevity of the current version is almost fleetingly ethereal, disappearing far too quickly, even when applied to fabric.

The fragrance itself enchants and entices like a fairytale garden bathed in twilight, where shadows dance with sunbeams and the aromas of fruit and flowers lure everyone nearby. The opening is sweetly almond like, reminiscent of the first bite of a juicy red apple, which an enchanted Snow White reaches for without hesitation, as the promise of pleasure becomes almost tangible. As the composition develops, floral accords emerge, wrapping the senses like morning mist, feminine, soft and sensual. In the base, sweet vanilla intertwines with amber and musk, adding warmth and depth to the fragrance. The whole composition draws you in and becomes addictive, its presence lingering on the skin like an echo of fairytale magic.
