I have a bottle from June of 1993 and one from May of 2000 and they both smell different than the 2013 release shown above. The '93 formula features early synthetic civet musk in a heavier concentration which results in a dusty/dusky, darker aroma of animalic, balsamic sweetness in a thick resinous blend, earthy, sensual and primal. The '00 formula switched to brighter synthetics in a smaller concentration which brought forward the sweet, floral quality, cutting that "old sugar" note. Less dusty, softer, sweeter like the old lady got 10 years younger. Both are phenomenal as expected and stand the test of time. I specifically hunted down these older versions for their feral qualities as I was not seeking the generic floral powder sweetness of the current rendition. 10/10 for the '93 9.5/10 for the '00

I call this my "hamster bedding" perfume. Simple and straightforward scent blend of which I cannot get enough of! So good. This note combo works fantastically with my chemistry and is something I seek out when considering new purchases.

This gives off a slight metallic edge on my skin, like canned milk. Lighter, thinner than "creamy" scents. Not overly sweet on me, fantastic layering formula. Very close to the scent of breast milk, delicate but lasting scent trail. Many other perfumes mimic this but don't have the balance of build this has.
