Club De Nuit Sillage Eau De Parfum

Mine was a bottle from their 3 piece mini set. A blind buy for me and I don't regret it! My first impression was that it was meh, very mid but that was its first exposure to air. I didn't know about maceration yet. A couple weeks later my impression changed to less generic but still so much marine and a tiny bit on the synthetic side. I've owned this for almost a year now and have only used it a few times but that's going to change! This is a phenomenal formula once its had time to oxidize and mature. Complex and sophisticated, the scent evolves gently, slowly and lasts forever on my clothes. OMG I love it so much! On the opening I get sweet grapefruit-like citrus, bright and watery solar notes, a hint of mineral salt, wet driftwood and sandy earth. As it dries down the solar notes evolve into a cool breeze on an overcast day, kicking up wet sand and drying driftwood. 8/10 Sleeper of a masterpiece.
