This one is VERY rose heavy. I’m not the biggest fan of rose, but I wore it enough where my nose had somewhat adjusted. It gives a sense of rose water to me. The rose still just overpowers everything else. It’s hard for me to wear this one, but it’s gorgeous nonetheless
Let’s talk gourmand… I think it’s hard to get more gourmand than with this one!! Pure sweetness, AKA NO florals, woods, apparent musks… it’s like vanilla frosting. Very sweet! I use this alone but also to layer with some of my more “stout” fragrances. Great compliments with this one!
Initial spray is a peppery juicy pear scent. It dries down into a musky pear. I no longer notice the peppery notes at all after many wears. This fragrance gets me so many compliments. I actually was surprised to see how many men like this and wear this, as I thought it leaned a bit feminine. Regardless, this is truly a masterpiece and I’ll keep this DNA in my collection forever!
