Serge Lutens’ Un Bois Vanilla was my first niche fragrance that I explored during my fragrance journey. Fortunately, I have a substantial collection of niche fragrances. This fragrance gained popularity in 2020, and I believe it resonated with me because of the global situation we were facing. I craved a comforting vanilla scent that would evoke a sense of safety and warmth. I ordered a bottle, wondering why I had never encountered this fragrance before. I am a big fan of a well-executed vanilla scent, and Un Bois Vanilla truly delivers. It begins with a vanilla note reminiscent of a cake batter. Gradually, it transitions into a floral and coconut vanilla blend, creating a beautiful and versatile fragrance. It even competes with Vanilla 28 in terms of its appeal. I personally prefer this fragrance; it aligns more closely with my preferences and evokes a sense of Tihota. The longevity of this fragrance is excellent on my skin, and its sillage is noticeable but not overpowering. It may be slightly more intense on the skin, but it still garners compliments. In my opinion, Un Bois Vanilla is a fragrance that is perfect for the fall and winter seasons fragrance .

I had to see or smell what the hype was about. Usually, it can be overrated and very generic smelling so I always go and test or order a 1 fl oz bottle to see. Well, this turned out to be a beautiful fruity tropical scent which I ran and bought a bottle ASAP. I’m going to call this a fruity gourmand, it’s literally a tropical gourmand! Surprise not another generic from a department store. I can see that I will be wearing this throughout the summer when at the pool, the beach and on my summer vacation! It’s a fun fragrance to wear out at night for drinks with the girls or guys, or even a a first date. The passionfruit is the front runner in this which makes this a different fruity/floral. Vanilla is in the hinter ground which gives this a fruity gourmand! Love,love love! Get a bottle and go out and have fun!

I just got home from an excellent getaway, this may sound funny but a vacation resets my sense of smell…😂. I decided to put something spring on, this was perfect and on my spring tray. It’s a jammy rose very floral but can be worn by anyone! It’s so pretty and as for the longevity it does an excellent job. You don’t need many springs to get sillage. Normally I’m not a Frederic Malle shopper but I have this and Carnal Flower. I will try and branch out getting more of from this house. Recommended if you are a rose lover and need a spring rose, this is it!
