Estēe Lauder

An intoxicating Floral Musky cocktail. A base of Sandalwood and notes of Honey. Ylang-Ylang. A Carnation accord: Clove, a touch of Rose and Jasmine in abundance. Reimagined by Frédéric Malle, Estée Legacy maintains its original essence, with ingredients and architecture elevated for a quiet sensuality. The raw magnetism and sophistication of New York. Sparkling intrigue. Infinitely magnetic. Impossible to resist. "Estée Legacy is magnetic... A quiet addiction." -Frédéric Malle. Olfactive Family: Floral Musky

(response to Miguel Matos's Article) for several times I had the Estée Lauder Estee . I found it a smashing perfume. it kind of introduced this Aldehydic, Sizzling Fizzling qualities that made the opening spectacular. I really have a penchant for Estée Lauder perfumes. in the 1980s I smelled this perfume on a colleague and I immediately hollered to the nearest Perfumery. also the notion 'Super Cologne' (as it was first, très Américaine, was called), then 'Super Edp' and Super Perfume. that I found fabulous, part of the Estée Lauder Lifestyle (I am raised by Dutch Communists and hence my love for Dynasty, Hotel, earlier Peyton Place, Alexis, all the 5th Ave and Rodeo Drive Perfumes). the perfume was a Drop Dead Chypre and I loved it. then at a given moment if you wanted it you had to visit ebay. but if you already have enough perfume to drown in, it is shoven aside. but I will NEVER forget it and hence my interest in this Article. lovely. I think the Estée in the Legacy Collection as also in the (2015) Classic Collection as Re-Editions are not bad at all. yet the Original had an unforgettable Super Imposition of Vodka & Champagne and then of course the Flowers, Rose, Jasmine & Aldehydes with a very special Fresness. almost a Teasing Coldness which held her Sophistication. (Iris, Orris, Oakmoss, Lily)
