this is a wonderful perfume (Edp 2.5oz75mL). I had thought it had more in common with No5 but no, I would almost say 'Not at All'. but it has the 'chanelissime'. then that would be the Citruses, Sandelwood, Ylang while the rest of the notes [by Jacques Polge] functions then as an also familiar 'Chanel Iconographie' with the Resins, Woody Notes, Vanilla & Tonka Bean (Coromandel, Coco, Allure) but within this perfume make a whole selfsufficient statement. it is a Superchique perfume. it has a soft and soothing, yet always foremost Elegant and Très Paris Clôche de parfum Aura. raffinement, éloquence et féminité pour vous ! it is around for so long (1926; 2016) and cocreates, along with No5, the Hereditary Message of Chanel. now with Matthieu Blazy at the helm as Creative Director for the fashions he seems to fit the shoes from monsieur Lagerfeld well and gives Chanel an update notwithstanding. perfumes like these keep supporting the as complex as lineary image of Chanel alive while also as a Museal Costly Heritage. but that doesn't mean 'Handled Off'. it still has a strong voice in the Luxe Industry and never seemed to have bought out its very soul.
