A casual scent. It's calming, creamy, full, and comforting. The vanilla does a lot of work here but it's not reminiscent of frosting or cake. It's a dry vanilla, silky and plush. Cashmere takes Lethe to a place of cozy comfort shows on a fall afternoon. You're home from a joyful family gathering and cuddling on the couch with your love. Nowhere to be. No responsibilities. Just the cozy glow of contentment.

A warm, leathery cherry. Thick and a touch synthetic (although I don't get cough syrup). It's definitely sexy. I'm supposed to be transported to a divey music venue. Loud punk or rock vibrating a crowded room. A mysterious girl in a leather jacket brushes your shoulder on her way to get closer to the stage. Maybe she's the bassist's girlfriend. She certainly seems to belong there. She leaves behind a cloud of new cherry lipgloss and old leather jacket. Something thick and syrupy. Maybe she's sipping an old fashion with extra luxardo syrup. You lose sight of her in the crowd and her scent quickly fades. Just another "I'm with the band" girl. Forgettable, common. I'm just a tad uninspired. I want more of the florals to come through. I want it a little lighter on its feet. I prefer the dry down when the cherry takes a backseat to the leather. I'll finish my decant but won't purchase a bottle.
