This could work on a man or a woman. The opening is like a lemonade with a spark of ylang-ylang. Yellow Dream is the most "neutral" flanker of the Born in Roma fragrances. The musk is very consistent and it stays with you, although the citrusy part is gone after an hour or two. Then there's the rose (my least favourite part, but not bad), which lasts for another hour or two until you get to the base note. The projection is not crazy, but the sillage is reasonable. It's one of my comfort scents. 5 sprays is my go-to. Both wrists, behind each ear, and in the back of my neck. And done. Perfect for a day in the office :)

Valentino Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream
Inspired by the color of Rome, the eternal city bathed in yellow light, inspires dreams of tomorrow, new beginnings for now. Born from the dream of Rome, bathing in a golden light, this floral perfume, created from the scent of a thousand rose petals is reinforced by the contrasting scent of musks . A scent full of optimism and energy. A COLOR TOP NOTE The delicacy of a peony accord captured in a scent. Like the flower, the fragrance’s petals peel one by one, offering a fresh and airy aroma at the top of this note. A COUTURE HEART NOTE Turkish Rose Essence creates a blooming and luminous femininity. An airy bouquet blooms at the heart of this fragrance. Led by a delicate Turkish rose essence, obtained by re injecting rose water into a solid form revealing the flower’s fresh green facets, together with its silky, opulent trail. A COOL BASE NOTE This floral heart is soothed by the reassuring, comforting notes of a pure accord. Then in total contrast, the dry down is teased by the power of white musks a sensual white musk overdose that develops into a lingering powdery softness. Source: https://www.valentino-beauty.co.uk
