Ginza Eau De Parfum Intense

Ginza Eau De Parfum Intense

Shiseido
Year: 2023
Country: Japan

Ignite your collection with Ginza Intense, a feminine (though bold enough for anyone) Eau de Parfum that masters the duality between strength and tenderness. Designed to be a "slow burn," this fragrance moves from a zesty, tart opening to a deep, velvety heart, making it an ideal signature for someone who wants to leave a luxurious and lasting impression. The journey begins with the crisp, vibrant snap of Blackcurrant Leaves, offering a fruity lightness that feels energetic and modern. This quickly gives way to the soul of the fragrance: a rich, intoxicating Rose Absolute (Damask Rose) that provides an "explosion" of floral sensuality. The base is where the "Intense" label truly earns its name, utilizing Patchouli and Absolute Vanilla alongside Vibrant Woods to create a warm, addictive trail that mimics the texture of silk on skin.

The opening is one of my favourite parts. It's fruity, daring, the floral side takes a little bit to appear. The blackcurrant is energising and playful. Then there's the rose (not my favourite thing in the world, but in this case it is not too strong), along with hints of vanilla and patchouli. This is an adult scent. It's still young enough to be daring and sexy, although the powdery side ruins the sexy part for me a little bit. Projection os good, and it is long-lasting. For a younger (although less vigorous) version, you can try the original Ginza. The opening is very similar and it's lightweight, rose-free, and powderless scent that will be great if you long for eternal youth.
