Review of Arabie by aad de gids

this was love at first sight and in my world that means buying the full bottle at the same moment. never had regrets. I sensed it as an Opium on steroids. I did had the bad habit of overspraying and took the flacon to my work. but that was simply too much. now two spritzes were twelve hours later still easily detectable. I love being sort of emerged in the Arabian world, or like walking in a sukh. overall it has resemblances with Opium and Youth Dew, even with Oudh Infini from Dusita. this perfume grows on you. I also like Serges 'Vitriol d'Œillet' and 'Tubéreuse Criminelle' but with the same zest I love 'à la Nuit' and 'Datura Noir'. Roses are my flower but 'Sa majesté la Rose' I found bland, like Kurkjians ['une Rose']. if you compare those with 'Oudh Infini', 'Portrait of a Lady' or Mizensirs 'Rose Exaltante' those are roses ! this perfume Arabie is genially blended and every note comes to the fore (xcept for me mandarin).
