the perfume being from 2014 and my flacon stems from that precise year I would have sworn there was Rose in the ingredients. (what several reviewers before have also mentioned.) (there is also spoken of 'the Dear Rose Collection' which I can remember as how they begun. plus the drawing of a Thorny branch on the label.) what I just now smelled, from a spritz since long, gives clear reminesces to Montales Rose-Ouds. the Saffron is metallic and spiky, just as how it is supposed to behave. a Rose fangs itself high up in a the crevasces of Agarwood, the Pink Pepper also glisteningly piquant. it is a wellknown duet of the Flower which doesn't give in and the 'Wood' which doesn't shy away. together they give off this discerning and undeniable aroma of a chic and timeless perfume. the Patchouli gives the underscoring certainty of the Earthy and Dense Base, needed to offset the other ingredients. despite the scarcity of Notes the perception of tonalities in the perfume is wide and deep. the quality has never faltered in 10+ years ! the bottle does still give the 'Clung' of it's thick glass bottom.
