Oud Pashmina

finally Montale is judged by his expertise and the real oud-content in his perfumes. I always knew. there isn't a ton in there of course. this not even befalls Louis Vuitton's 'Oud Pur' while Domique Ropion's 'the Night' for Frédéric Malle has a much higher concentration. I immediately fell in love with ALL Montales Rose-Ouds, that shall have been around 2004 or so. then it were Louban, Attar (without oud but a double distilled sandelwood and Rose), Oud Purple Roses, Black Oud, and then the later Oud Damascus and Pashmina Oud. Montale-slamming was common. I, however, NEVER follow the masses. if you want decent information about oud read Ensar. I have a Sultan Pasha attar of $250. so I know what hindi-oud, Laotian oud Palao (Oudh Infini from Dusita) and Chinese oud (but that country is so big) in Ex Idolos 'Thirty Three' ( a thirty three years old Chinese Oud oil with a beautiful rose) smells like. Nepal Oud from Montale. all fabulous, piercing and the duet between rose and oud seems predestined. Mona di Orios Oud-Osmanthus also is fantastic with a dry oud. Nin-Shar from Jul et Mad ($450 for 50 ml, while 7 Dusitas costed me 7 x 395 euro, with a little help from my straight twinbrother) smells more smoothly. nothing what I already experienced with Montales perfect perfumes. also Pure Gold (apricot) and Intense Café (Himmlisch, while I am a Dutch person...) are beautiful perfumes. just to say that the reviews about Montale are going up. this perfume accompanies me the whole day with a sparse spritz. I ALWAYS buy a full bottle, even if I didn't smelled a perfume. the worse it is hammered down, the faster I run to the shops. my coming of age in perfumery lie in the 1980s so the general denominator for me are GIORGIO POISON COCO OBSESSION KNOWING GIORGIObeverlyhills'RED' etc. this oud could be hindi, it is dry and smooth. even when the tiniest fluff is used. thank you Pierre and thank you reviewers and revieweuses.
