Review of L'Ombre du Lys by aad de gids

this is a magnificent perfume. and it really is from 2015 that I bought the perfume directly from the Mégève located (site of) Mizensir, Alberto Morillas' establishment of Parfumerie. thèn still I thought the Lys was indeed hidden behind the shadows of Tunisian Neroli, Hedione, Orange Blossom and Indian Tuberose, although my review below under 'Madonnatella' already spoke of reconstruction of the Lily. yet now first I discover my much loved Lily splendidly and white in the foreground. it is such a delicate and sophisticated perfume, of which Glorious Predicament I have to accuse all of Morillas's (and Mizensir's) feminine perfumes. they are Clear, Radiating, finely Tuned. I find Alberto Morillas just as genial as Dominique Ropion and to each their own virtuosity. that Morillas is from (I believe) Northern Spain shines through through all of his Creations. the other Mizensir's I have are Rose Exaltante & Poudre D'Or. an Iris and a Rose perfume to die for. now I just enjoy this refined parfum de Lys.
