this perfume I have bought while it was on sale. what I remember is that I sprayed it on a card, several weeks ago, and that evening lay on the couch and thought What Is That Heavenly Smell, almost to the point of insanity. I managed to reduce it to this perfume. whereas the addictive note I smelled on the back of my hand, or on my rings, was quasi-synthetic yet also a kind of Heliotrope to the Nth degree, I knew I had to have it. what others also remarked before, if it were a full Gourmand perfume I would never have 'snapped'. what I now sense is that it must be the amalgam of Fig, Pineapple, Coconut & Iris, finished off with the Heliotrope & Vanilla (not in sickening amounts). 'Virginian Cedar' then give a sturdy backbone, and the Praliné veers off backward, at least to my nose (luckily). now I am curious if I will get that lovely mixed trailing sillage again. which I can only describe as quasi-synthetic with Heliotrope. perhaps with some Pineapple tossed in. it is my experience that with all the perfumes by Les Haute Joialleries, the quality is beyond question.
