Dream Sea

Lorenzo Pazzaglia
Year: 2021
Country: Italy

A special Marino not comparable to other fragrances. A portrait: sitting on a spring night admiring the sea, its smell and lapping. The peppery opening on a cloud of marine notes makes this sea appear initially cold, but then, as white flowers and vanilla scents appear, it warms up, turning comforting and familiar. "Night comes with its cocktail of luxurious spices and sweet white flowers that mingle with the vivid green notes of vegetation hidden by darkness. The unmistakable scent of the sea melts on the skin painted with crystalline saltiness of bright stars and icy moon. Her hugs are tinged with love and the rustling of her waves swings between her breaths as she rises the magical call of the bewitching sirens." - Antea Devon

Lorenzo Pazzaglia Dream Sea - The Cliff, The Drop, The Dare It doesn't ease you in. One spray and you're already somewhere else - salt air and hot stone and that particular brightness that makes you shield your eyes before your brain has caught up. The opening is a bit much, honestly. Not unpleasant. Just a lot, all at once, like someone turning up the volume mid-sentence. Then it gets wilder. Herbs cutting through the warmth - not the cultivated kind, the ones that grow sideways out of cracked rock faces. Slightly medicinal, slightly feral, carrying a small edge of recklessness that makes you stand differently. Take up a bit more room than you usually would. People in a room look up. They can't always place it, and that's sort of the whole point. The drydown settles into warm musk and salt residue - the feeling of having swum hard and lain flat on warm rocks in the afternoon, too tired to think about anything. Less arresting than what came before. But honest in a way a lot of summer fragrances aren't. This is escapism that earns itself. Most summer fragrances promise a place and deliver a concept. Dream Sea smells like a specific hour, a specific light, a specific decision to go somewhere with no return time. Wear it on a warm evening when you want to feel like you're about to do something interesting. Let it be a little too much. Is there a fragrance that's made you physically take up more space? Curious whether that's a common experience or just me. #FragranceCommunity #FragranceFinds #NichePerfume #LavenderCloudsJD Instagram · @lavendercloudsjd
