La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu

It’s s a more intense, richer version of the classic, enhanced with a note of iris. I perceive the opening as fig with a subtle blackcurrant nuance. After a short while, the composition develops into the floral gourmand sweetness so well known from the original. It is only in the base, as the fragrance softens and settles closer to the skin, that I begin to clearly detect the elegant, slightly powdery iris, subtly accompanied by patchouli. This stage is what gives the fragrance a more mature character overall. Longevity is around eight hours, with a noticeable and well defined projection.
