Even though this website focuses a lot on longevity and sillage, the reason I bought this EDP is directly connected to a slight lack of these two qualities. Citrus and fresh molecules are lighter and easier to evaporate. Therefore, the performance of l'Eau Pure is not remarkable. It is the fact that you can smell the water. I applied it 8 hours ago. The opening is a little fruity and clean, with the lemon and mandarin. In a few seconds, I could smell fresh water. Not like rain. Certainly not like sea. It is Aquozone®, a rare molecule created by Firmenich and found in fragrances like Acqua di Gio Profondo. Then there is a clean musk, and a subtle sandalwood. The transformation is complete. There is something especially evil about having a dirty mind and a disgustingly clean fragrance. Anyway, that's what I am going for these days.

L'eau Pure
Year: 2025
Perfumer: Daphné Bugey
L'Eau Pure, an Eau de Parfum for all, reveals itself fresh and intense, delicately pure and deeply contrasted. At the heart of this creation, the most potent aquatic molecule in perfumery, Aquozone®*, releases crystal clear notes with an exceptionally durable wake. The invigorating freshness of Italian mandarin and lemon is harmoniously combined with the soothing softness of Provencal white lavender. Enriched with Australian musk and sandalwood, L'Eau Pure reveals an enveloping and sensual depth.
