Review of Lesedi Di Rona by aad de gids

this is a perfume where you have to take the time to get used to. it has an incredible chic poise. the oud immediately reminds me of Montale, Ex Idolos Thirty Three, Histoire de Parfums al Oudh, Juliette has a Guns Midnight Oud and somewhat of Dusitas Oud Infini. but it is more demure and yet, it isn't demure. tamed or, dancing with the white flowers Jasmine and Orange Blossom. strangely it has almost the same effect as a majestetic Rose does with Oud. oud needs strong flowers. I love the combination here also. in the beginning I found the perfume fleeting.... but it really isn't, it is as if to know her, takes some time and then all kinds of depths come forward. the cloves make me think of a strong Dominique Ropion fragrance. there is a haute refinement. I must have mistaken that of a demureness in the beginning. bought at the same time as with Cartiers Oud-Rose they share definitely similarities. with GRAFF I must always think of their watch 'Hallucination", bedappled with coloured diamonds at $ 65, million. now here we have again the Lesedi di Rona. I mourn the loss of the haute joiallerier de Grisogono, because there were some fine perfumes cooking. the other perfumes look promising. there is an awkward thing with the cap. in the beginning I thought it was a turn-around cap. I almst pulled the whole enface off... the plastic cap has a circular inside,save for a straight strip. all inviisible due to the facettuousness. this strip shoves over a counterstrip in the metal neck. once you have seen it, the problems are over. I marked the strip zone with nail lacquer.... a fabulous, regal and sheerly deeply enjoyable perfume !
