My mom bathed in this after her lava-hot showers. She must've spent thousands of dollars buying full price bottles in the late 80s and early 90s before it was discontinued... Like all the greatest perfumes eventually are. This is liquid nostalgia for me and the price some people are willing to pay for this oil version is insane! My bottle is legit 35yrs old and you can tell it's starting, STARTING to expire. Decades of slow evaporation has thickened it to a heavy, oily, dark enough to stain clothing perfume but the heart of this formula stands the test of time. Gone is the heavy projection clove oil base and instead is the heavy, dusky smell of perfume oils that have aged too far. After a half hour or so, that familiar resinous and animalic scent overcomes its age and makes itself sweetly known. This formula is the essence of mature and classic, in my humble opinion. 10/10 Signature scent worthy, even now.
