this is a lovely perfume. I bought it in 2022. that was bc my Bottle of Ambra Nera (c2000s) had turned (which had NEVER happened to me) while it had loads of Resins, Amber, Benzoin, Patchouli, Eucalyptus, Cypress. something must have made a Ghost out of it. and I fondly still remembered the perfume I gave to my straight Twinbrother Bas 'Patchouly Indonesiano'. these were straight-up perfumes. that was such sophisticated and complexly layered perfume while the only ingredient truly was 'Patchouly Indonesiano'. that was fun. now Oud E Rosa Nera somewhat fulfills the role of amalgam of these dearly remembered perfumes. I will ALWAYS love Rose-Oud perfumes, may have ten different variants of Montales with this theme. I never understand people who complain that then there is overlap. it is the FBW People. I was never like that. I just BOUGHT the fucking perfumes bc I loved them all. yes I gave half of my perfumes away (let's say I had ca 700 perfumes (1974-2026) and gave 350 of them straight away bc at home, they were (then always) deemed: 'too light'. while these already were heady and heavy to the Asphyxiative levels, perfumes. Kurkdjian 'Absolu Pour le Soir': away with it. Lutens's 'A La Nuit': out of the house. 'Sa Majesté La Rose' of Lutens & 'A La Rose' of Kurkdjian: gone with the wind. but this here obviously was a perfume to stay. I could swear I already reviewed it but no, nowhere to be found. the perfume has a shockingly low appeciation level to judge at the numbers of reviews it got. the perfume has a softer footprint then the Montales. I love the Loud & Screechy Rose-Ouds and also such perfumes in general. but yet there is something unique to this perfume. it has Sophistication, a Delicate Rose Accord, an obvious Oud-Presence. the Black Currant, Cloves, Incense & Patchouli are all here to stay. I find it always bothersome the Brands do not differentiate more in which Type of Rose and which Type of Oud they have exactly used. and then I saw the (much feared) Amberwood. but no Sorrows. either it never attacks me or, more likely, I am anosmic to them. (there are more variables.) perhaps they are used in sufficient and ample dosages. the Amberwood lends the perfume Fullness and Mechanics within. the 'White Musk' I can neither and never pinpoint or smell. I never know what the fuck they are talking about. that this is an exemplary and fullbodied perfume with perhaps a Nuanced Italianitá, that is a thing for sure.
