finally then, this perfume arrived. I have always known it, yet never smelled it otherwise than on a scented strip in Vogue US. it has resemblances to her 1980s Sisters, as well as her sisters from the 1990s. she is perfect yet I am used to much more Sillage and Presence from these 'Flowerbombs'. this is a highly polished Lady, well mannered and nowhere over the top. if such ostentatious perfumes have my preference, then yet, after 50 years of collecting only the most vile and annexationist Flower perfumes (Giorgio, Giorgio Red, Knowing, Obsession, Eternity, White Linen, Poison, Fred Hayman 273, Bijan Beverly Hills, Gale Hayman Beverly Hills, Donna Karan Donna Karan, Paris, Opium, Y, Ivoire, No19, No5, Chanel Coco, Allures both, Coco Mademoiselle Edt Edp Essence EPrivé, Creed's Fleur de Bulgarie, Irisia, Royal Delight, Vanisia, Tubereuse Indiana, Jasmal, Jasmine Impératrice Eugénie, Gem, First, Nahéma, Knowing, EauduSoir etc., etc.) this then surely belongs to them but her shyness amazed yet mesmerized me. she has some resemblance with Eternity, No5, White Linen, Ysatis, First, OscardelaRenta, Must II de Cartier (all their Classique-ness) but these 'gals' are much more assertive. 5th Ave has her place in the Panthéon. and now in my house. she is just that shy, chic, demure lady with impeccable Deux Pièces de Chanel. she has the luxe heels from Manolo Blahnik and Chanel but nothing fancy or experimental. the perfume is to die for. the polish is breathtaking.
