A beautifully composed lilac fragrance. The notes are blended so seamlessly that it’s difficult to distinguish them individually, so this description is simply my personal interpretation of the fragrance. Composition opens with a watery accord and a delicate hint of cucumber before unfolding into a distinct lilac note enriched with a generous dollop of honey. The lilac feels incredibly realistic, as though I were standing amongst lilac bushes in full bloom just after a spring rain shower. The base is a lovely blend of musk and sandalwood. On my skin, it lasts around five hours, with moderate projection during the first couple of hours before settling closer to the skin. The fragrance bears a very distant resemblance to Fragonard Lilas, though without its soapy character. To me, it’s an intensely nostalgic scent, evoking memories of childhood, damp gardens after rain, freshly cut lilac branches placed in a vase, walks on warm May afternoons, and that unmistakable scent of spring lingering in the air. The composition is perfect for spring and early summer, especially for those who appreciate fresh floral fragrances.
