(Vanille et Coco is a fantastic, enveloping perfume. it is superfeminine and has a mild presence. it reminds me of Grossmiths Phul-Nana and Mizensirs Poudre d'Or. this can never be a polarizing perfume and while it wouldn't be everybodies' cup-of-tea this perfume undulates waves of reminescence like the perfumes of Oriza L. Legrand do. the design of the flacon is masterful. it also has some similar perfumial dôme as Chanel's no. 5 has. classic, modern, old fashioned all at once.) later this perfume knew how to immediately disperse itself a place in my heart. with a fine wave of evaporation droplets floating on dreamy and soft clouds of Vanille, Cocos, Iris, Ylang Ylang and the pull of several White Flowers. (Orange Blossom, Jasmine.) the singular soft Spicy initial stage accentuated by Anise, Lavender, Poplar Buds the (possible) Woodiness of which then prolongated in the Basenotes as Sandelwood and Tonkabean. from the Vanilla I have the feeling it is predominantly the Vanilla Orchid which at least contributed to the perfume's Floralcy while also the vegetal beneficial and very aromatic Vanilla- and Tonka beans add to the richness of this perfume. if ever there were a 'Sweet Perfume' in the sense of nice-mannered and culturated, then this is it. but particularly those rivulets of nano droplets laden with Pollen, Cocos slivers, Floral gradations, emanations of Vanilla Specks and the hushes of Lavender (nowhere outrageous or exotic like in Jicky or Kiki from Vero Kern), Anise and the ingiven Poplar Buds all lend to this perfume a venerated Classicisme and add to the portfolio of an Old and Chic Maison de Parfum.
