this is a fabulous perfume. since the 1990s it 'sits' in my collection. in Paris I got it as a gift the luxurious set of three EDP's intense with the faux galuchat dress-ups from my straight twinbrother. now I have the flacon from an Exclusive series of 'My this' and 'My that' and 'Parfum Sacrée' and 'Piu Bellodgia'. what immediately strikes you is the duo black pepper and rose. it is irrisistible, at least for me. then the perfume acquieres and acquieres depth upon depth (just as with 'My Ylang' and 'Piu Bellodgia'). it has that Parisian chiqueness and when I go out (shopping for groceries for instance) you have the 'haute Madame' feeling. Rose, Mimosa, Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Vanilla, a perfume so flowery shall always have my sympathy and love. then the spices Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon and Pepper doesn't make a wallflower of this perfume. it even has reminiscences to Gale Hayman's Beverly Hills (1990). the Myrrh further gives it longevity and while preferring civet or civetone, it just does the job. I belong to that half of humanity who can not detect 'white musk'. at least that is no omittance here. this is a 'Grande Dame' and Caron one of the venerable 'Maisons de Parfum'.
