At first glance, the fragrance presents a classic fougère profile, yet it is distinguished by the crisp, intellectual coolness of aldehydes and the distinctive, wild, animalic notes of civet. This combination evokes the image of a white Greek marble statue. While the civet imparts a cool sensation, the layering of leather creates a texture that is smooth—like polished stone—yet undeniably hard and solid. It traces the smooth curves of the human form, much like a sculpture, while simultaneously conveying the rigidity of carved stone. Personally, I find the prominent oakmoss note particularly effective; it accentuates both the cool texture and the fragrance's masculine character. By incorporating the characteristics of civet and leather, the scent becomes both smooth and powerful—evoking the rugged strength of a man.
