Review of Byzantium by Marta Regina Jabłońska

A sweet, subtly oriental composition built around accords of almond, honey, and vanilla. The spices are used with restraint, gently warming the fragrance, while floral and musky notes create a smooth, enveloping base. The fragrance has very good longevity and a pronounced sillage. In theory, all the pieces of the puzzle come together to create a very successful perfume. And yet, there is something about it that makes me perceive it more as a fragrance for an interior than one I would want to wear myself. I would rather spend time in a room scented like this than be personally associated with the fragrance. This does not, however, diminish the charm of the composition.
