Review of Sunlit Vanilla by Steph Dove

This opens as a sweet, youthful vanilla with a slight musky lotion edge — very much in the suncream/holiday skin territory, but a decent one. The bergamot top is a really nice twist! As it develops, coconut and caramel come through as soft coconut-gourmand with a musky base, but be aware that it does project quite strongly early on. (Outdoors the caramel was almost loud, so go light handed with application.) The drydown is much, much gentler.. it is incredibly wearable — a soft, lingering skin scent that sits nicely without being intrusive. Overall, this is a crowd pleaser. Ok, it is fairly generic, but it is still well done. For me personally, it is a little too linear for everyday wear, but my travel size will definitely go with me on holiday.
