this perfume seems to me to be the quintessence of the Classic Ladies Perfume. it also represents the refined yet always frilly Fashions (& Couture) from the American Fashion designer Oscar de la Renta. (1932-2014) his fashions were frilly also because he was born in Santo Domingo, so he became a Dominican-American fashion designer. he was one of the Greats. Geoffrey Beene, Bill Blass, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and others but these designers have all been active predominantly in the 1980s. the perfume Bella Blanca even reminesces to Oscar's greatest perfume: Oscar de la Renta (1977). the use of White Flowers, the Piqueing Pear, some green Notes plus the Woody base make it a timeless perfume. there is also a synthetic note which I do not find disturbing. it has some aking to Aldehydes and perhaps it is the Musk with a Clean Linen Vibe. then it is a perfume from 2018, 4 years after Oscar's Death and 41 years after "Oscar" as his first perfume is also called. this perfume has no Haute Ambitions (and Fabulousness as "Oscar") nevertheless it is well executed. I have seen Harry Fremont's name more regularly and I always found he creates Great Perfumes. I also bought 'Bella Rosa' which I find even better because I am a Rose person. 'Bella Tropicale'and 'Bella Soleil' do good in this Portfolio because they denote to his (Sub) Tropical roots. "From 1993 to 2002, de la Renta designed the haute couture collection for the house of Balmain", this I can still see before me. (en.wikipedia.org) I always searched for his fashions and they never seemed like a Toned-down YSL. also his perfume "Volupté" (1992) which is a (Sub) Tropical post 1980s Flowerbomb (plus Fruit) perfume gained some Famosity. short: this truly is a memorable perfume remembering a Legendary American Couturier.
