Review of Angel Eau de Parfum by Sarah Chabal

Sweet, patchouli, fruity, warm spicy, caramel, vanilla, woody, honey, powdery, chocolate, rich, decadent, feminine, sensual, seductive, sexy, flirty, sophisticated, charming, enchanting, bewitching, celestial, mysterious, alluring, tempting, addictive, intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting, unique On me this opens with sweet and fluffy cotton candy, decadent golden honey, woody patchouli, gooey caramel, sensual vanilla, tart bergamot, and radiant mandarin orange. As it begins drying down the fruity notes come into play with juicy peach, tart red berries, sweet blackberry, jammy plum, a whisper of coconut, and warm spicy nutmeg and caraway. The dry down grows more rich and decadent as the rich golden honey, woody patchouli, chocolate, decadent caramel, sensual and powdery vanilla, tonka bean, warm golden amber, and creamy sandalwood grow even more prominent and take center stage. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the cotton candy, honey, patchouli, and caramel, followed by vanilla, nutmeg, caraway, and amber. This is such a beautifully unique scent! I’ve never smelled anything quite like it! I absolutely recommend at least trying this. However, it might not be for you if you don’t enjoy patchouli as it’s a very prominent note. It’s still worth sampling though! I only have a sample of it right now (before reformulation), but I definitely plan on buying a travel spray of it! This feels feminine to me, and suitable for women of most ages (maybe not teens). I think this works best during the colder months of fall and winter because it’s sweet, decadent, and cozy, so I think it could possibly become cloying in hot weather. To me, It feels most fitting for date nights and fancy occasions. I get exceptional performance with Angel. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the entire day on me. The projection is at least strong as it radiates out at least a few feet from me. I do consider this to be a good value because I only need 2-3 sprays for this effect, so it will last for a really long time.
