The composition opens with somewhat abstract, metallic accords heightened by pink pepper. It feels simultaneously warm, subtly rosy, yet also distinctly fresh and airy, creating a sense of distance while offering comfort, like a protective and reassuring armor. There is a quiet elegance in this interpretation of the original. A sense of calm, perhaps even restraint. The pronounced sensuality of the original’s fleshy jasmine is absent here. The base becomes slightly dry, though still touched with a subtle sweetness. Longevity on fabric is very good, while the sillage moves from moderate to intimate fairly quickly. The beautiful greyish blue color palette of the flacon harmonizes perfectly with the nature of this flanker.
