Review of Santal Superfluide by Olga Steinfeld

I’d love to write an ode to this perfume, since it’s my favourite scent from Les Eaux Primordiales. But, as usual, when it comes to describing something truly wonderful, I’m at a loss for words. It smells expensive - not in a loud way, but in a quietly confident way. In other words, when you wear this perfume, you become someone who knows what they’re doing and what they want. Plum makes the scent velvety. Saffron brings warmth, while the woody, slightly tart base gives you a sense of strength and a calm, clear mind. It’s a warm, soft woody fragrance with a gentle powderiness and no sweetness. Longevity is moderate, lasting around 5-6 hours. The projection is soft - the scent simply envelops you without becoming overpowering. The sillage is subtle but noticeable. I love wearing this perfume with a black shirt and red lipstick; it makes me feel focused and confident. It’s perfect for the office and business meetings.
