I finally picked up Yara after seeing so much back-and-forth on YouTube. The shop didn't have a tester, but the salesperson insisted it was a Delina dupe. As a Delina devotee, I was skeptical but decided to risk a blind buy. I have to be honest: they are nothing alike. Yara is a lovely fragrance in its own right, but it leans very youthful—it has a 'first perfume' or college-girl vibe that doesn't quite suit a more mature style. To my nose, it is linear raspberry from the opening through the dry down, with maybe a tiny hint of rose essence. It’s pleasant, but very one-note. Lesson learned: even at a great price point, don't buy into the hype without smelling it for yourself first.
