Sweet, vanilla, warm spicy, patchouli, woody, boozy, rum, warm, amber, Oud, balsamic, powdery, rich, deep, decadent, luminous, feminine, sensual, seductive, mysterious, glamorous, luxe, sophisticated, alluring, tempting, intoxicating, intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with warm and boozy rum, sweet and powdery vanilla orchid, and lush jasmine. The heart blooms with more powdery and delicate vanilla orchid, decadent crème brûlée, rich spicy notes, caramel like tonka bean, aromatic leather, and just a hint of velvety rose. The dry down grows sweeter and more woody with sweet and decadent brown sugar, earthy/woody sugared patchouli, rich Oud, warm golden amber, and a touch of soft powdery musk. This is definitely an amped up deeper version of Vanilla 28. I do like it, but I definitely much prefer Vanilla 28, which has just enough depth for me to reach for regularly. Vanilla Royale also has an additional decadence to it, but is balanced out by the rich and woody notes. I can definitely see this being very hit or miss, especially because of the intensity of the patchouli and Oud. For me, they aren’t always notes that I enjoy, but I do think they’re done well here, and I do enjoy this one. To me this feels most suitable for women who are at least in their 20s, or up. It’s a really fantastic fragrance for the colder weather of fall and winter because of its sweet and spicy intensity. It seems most fitting for evening wear, date nights, and fancier occasions. I get excellent performance with Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli. The longevity is exceptional, it lasts the entire day, and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is fantastic, just a few sprays and it’s projecting at least several feet. I do consider it to be a good value because of how well it performs, which means the bottle will last for quite some time for me.
