This fragrance is themed around the twilight of the endless Namib Desert and the nomadic songs that resonate within it. The scent opens with a gentle, calming blend of lavender and vanilla. Myrrh, though subtly present, blends beautifully with the lavender and vanilla, creating a harmonious and sacred impression. Almond adds an accent, providing richness and an oriental character to the serene, sacred fragrance. Personally, I perceived it less as myrrh and more as a calming blend of lavender and vanilla, expressing the depth of tonka bean and the sacred allure of myrrh. Instead of pushing myrrh to the forefront, it creates an intellectual harmony by subtly presenting it as a "sacred shadow" within the calm layers of lavender and vanilla. When applied to the skin, the almond accent blends with body temperature, creating a noble richness and depth reminiscent of vintage whiskey.
