Reviewing formulation in the old, tall, ruby bottle: A juicy, luscious blend of citrus fruits intertwines with vanilla sweetness, subtly spiced with ginger that lends a gentle edge. The whole composition is vintage in the finest sense of the word: thoughtful, well constructed, avoiding any literal gourmand excess while still caressing the senses with delectable notes. It is a rather quiet, close-to-the-skin fragrance, though on fabric its sweetness lingers until the end of the day. There is something beautifully cocooning about this vintage gourmand.
