Review of Twilly d'Hermès Eau de Parfum by Sarah Chabal

White floral, citrusy, softly sweet, warm, fresh spicy, fresh, woody, powdery, feminine, sensual, sophisticated, chic, charming, whimsical, inviting, cozy, comforting, intriguing, unique On me this opens with spicy ginger balanced by fresh bitter orange, and bright bergamot. As it begins drying down the white floral heart begins opening with creamy tuberose, sweet and citrusy orange blossom, and lush jasmine. Once it’s dried down the woody and creamy sandalwood and powdery vanilla intertwine with the rest of the notes, but also take center stage. This is quite different from the fragrances that I typically go for. Honestly, I wouldn’t have bought it, but since my friend was getting rid of some fragrances she just gave me this bottle along with a couple others, and lots of samples. So, obviously I had to try this out, and yes, it’s a pretty scent. I would not consider it a safe blind buy though, unless you know that you already love fragrances like this one, or these notes. I typically go for sweet vanillas/gourmands and beachy/coconut scents, so I don’t think I’ll be reaching for this often. It does have a certain charm to it though. This is the first time I’ve worn it, so I’ll keep feeling it out, and see what happens. Maybe I’ll end up pairing it with something sweeter and with more vanilla.
