Phul-Nana, the bouquet of Indian Flowers, already a century old as perfume, has in my home still gained 25 years in itself as perfume (within that Century), whereas I bought the Trio (Phul-Nana, Shem-El-Nessim, Hasu-No-Hana) roundabout year 2000. you can immediately detect, feel, that Phul-Nana is different than Hasu-No-Hana (which I reviewed the latest) while it is more 'Fresh', 'Clear', and all other words that also seem obsolete and inadequate. this perfume has the same Luring Strategies as the other two, mentioned. and everything, every Note is so intricately, imminently (while an European Notation would be 'immanently'), intensely Macerated, Riped, Withered unto the good Grape Vibe, as a wine, as an old lipstick still holding glitter and devilish red. if it is a bouquet of flowers then indeed it is. Neroli, Geranium for a Rose-Accord, Ylang Ylang, Tuberose all mingle and make a magnificent Flowery Haze. then the other notes are supportive and compliant to the idea of the Bouquet (of Indian Flowers, i.e. Tuberose). but the Tuberose is all swallowed up into the withering, macerating, ripening alchimia. that the Trio of Perfumes is resurrected around the 2000s, by Trevor Nicholl (here I can't see if this also goes for Shem-El-Nessim and Hasu-No-Hana), but at least by Grossmith's, has been a genius, fabulous work. here I sit in this Clôche of Heavenly Perfume as from another Century, another Dimension, almost the humanless Spaces of Indian, American, Asian, African, Australian, European, Oceanean Land Masses covered with vegetation and all the flowers imaginable. it seems only 'Fresher', 'Breezier' than Hasu-No-Hana, but it has the same all encompassing vibe of a Flowering World without Human Interventions. the pollens, the trace of honey and just the damascenones, jasminoides, ylang-oils, tuberose night luring potions, all rivulet into the same Mist of Mystique and Silentium and Sinisterium, traces that we want to follow because they attract us like fire the moths. the Base Notes, Endnotes, only cement what was already Clear in the beginning. the whole perfume is present at each moment of its presence, all notes in all notes. Fabuleuse !
