I expected another nice aquatic. It is nice. It's also, annoyingly, transporting. Lemon first, more peel than pulp, cold and almost electric, citrus meeting seawater. You breathe in deeper without meaning to. Slightly rude, how quickly it gets you. Then the moss, and not the damp-forest kind. Mineral, salty, sun-warmed. Sage and geranium give it a dry herbal spine, and suddenly you're smelling rocks that have spent all day heating by the sea. Wind, salt, skin. No leather-and-whisky costume, no chest-out swagger. The masculinity on offer is ease rather than ego: a man standing near the sea who isn't being photographed for it. And then the dry-down reaches for the safe handshake. White musk and cedar are modern niche's default, and "clean" is carrying a lot of marketing weight here. A raised eyebrow, delivered flat. Four to six hours, intimate quickly, which feels deliberate. It's made for the space between people, not for filling a room. What's the most convincing "clean" fragrance you own? Genuinely curious. #FragranceCommunity #FragranceReview #NichePerfume #QueerAesthetic #LavenderCloudsJD Instagram · @lavendercloudsjd
