A classic, lovely rose—a red rose from a florist rather than a garden—adorned with sweet fruits that add charm and sweetness. It is a classically feminine composition with the moderate strength and longevity one might expect from an eau de toilette. It does not evolve dramatically, remaining simply pretty from beginning to end. Unfortunately, the bottle’s minimalism, bordering on ostentatious boldness in its color palette, feels at odds with the romantic character of the fragrance. It suggests a certain daring, rebelliousness, and confidence that simply are not present here. And that is perfectly fine, because the fragrance is good exactly as it is.
