Review of Nostos by Olga Steinfeld

Nostos is one of my favorite fragrances with a distinctly masculine character. Deep, rich, noble, yet at the same time cozy and velvety. It opens with airy, non-church incense and spicy saffron with a soft suede facet. After a few minutes, the fragrance becomes warmer and smoother, revealing an oud note - not heavy, but noble and balsamic. At the same time, a rich, unsweetened rose note emerges, adding a subtle floral dimension to the composition. In the drydown, a warm suede accord remains on the skin, accompanied by a soft hint of wood. It is not overwhelmingly warm, but has a comforting, enveloping quality. The projection is moderate, and the longevity is up to 6 hours. For me, this fragrance evokes an expensive suede jacket and the feeling of golden autumn.🍂
