Exit the King always leaves me with mixed feelings. I both like it and dislike it. It's a clean, soapy floral fragrance dominated by rose, with a touch of lily of the valley. To me, it smells like the rose-scented liquid hand soap you often find in the spotless restrooms at airports. And I actually love that association because I love flying. I enjoy wandering through airport terminals, browsing the shop windows, emptying the shelves in duty-free stores, and feeling that sense of anticipation before boarding a plane. This fragrance instantly brings back those pleasant memories and makes me smile. On the other hand, as a perfume, I find it quite soapy, a little synthetic, and a bit overbearing. It's not heavy, and its projection is moderate, but if I keep smelling it for too long, it starts to annoy me. So I'd recommend wearing it with some caution if you're sensitive to pronounced soapy accords or noticeable synthetic nuances. The longevity is very good. I sprayed it on before bed, and I could still smell it on my skin the next morning.
