In the official description, we read that this is “a bold floral amber that celebrates your aura, grace, and strength, transporting you from the everyday into a world of confident beauty.” Aura? Absolutely—the projection and longevity are very good, creating a delightful veil around the wearer. Grace? Without question. This is a charming and graceful fragrance. Bold? Not in the slightest. This is a classically feminine, elegant, and lovely floral-fruity composition resting on a warm base. Sweet from beginning to end, it opens with a more pronounced fruity character and gradually softens into woody nuances by the end of the day. While the pear note may be a gentle nod to contemporary trends, it is difficult to find anything truly extravagant, daring, or particularly bold here. And that is perfectly fine. Elizabeth Arden fragrances are at their best when they are classically feminine, beautiful, and timelessly elegant.
