jaguarundina 01/24/26 06:14 I have already given a smashing review and the review by Nathan86 is simply breathtaking and exhaustive in the descriptions of the beauty of this perfume. but I've omitted some things in my review under 'Madonnatella' dd jan 2019 (or sep). I had already bought my flacon in or around 2000. that is the period when I acquired a lot of 'Frédéric Malle. Éditions de parfums.' (also Masculin Perfumes for my straight twinbrother. Monsieur, Un Géranium Pour Monsieur, Cologne Indélibile, all by, or most from Dominique Ropion.) for myself (the gay twinbrother) I bought all the Female Heavy hitters and predominantly from 'D.R.'. so also Une Fleur de Cassie by the 'Overload' perfumer Dominique Ropion whom I always preferred to Jean-Claude Ellena. I love Versace bc Donatella said 'Less is Less, as far as I am concerned' . And I wholly agree. so Portrait of a Lady, yes. Carnal Flower, Geranium Pour Monsieur, Vétiver Extraordinaire, Cologne Indélibile [endlessly] et cetera. Une Fleur De Cassie immediately torsioned around my heart. it was also such asphyxiating perfume ! but that is precisely my cup of tea. I also somewhere in the 2010s (or even the 2000s) bought a Follow-Up. that is how smitten I was with the perfume, as eighter with POAL and Al Waad, Promise. a Maroccan lady who came to a Lady friend of mine suddenly pronounced it 'al Wachéd', with an unbelievable hard pronunciation of the 'wACHÉd', and I found that mesmerizing. this Fleur De Cassie is a Voluptuous, Opulent flower bouquet with much more notes as here notated. I remember it had Cumin, Rose, Carnation and Jasmine. (I seem to remember it also had Castoreum.) but what it portrais a priori is the Mimosa, the Acacia and to cite myself 'If I understood correctly the 'Fleur de Cassie' is a specific kind of acacia kin yet, out of the tremendous overload on specietal Acacias. it is, after some study, derived from the Mimosa Farnesiana.' but what Nathan86 had researched (or already knew by himself) is 'Perhaps why it’s called Une Fleur De Cassie is to emphasize different aspects of Vachellia Farnesiana via other florals.' so the richness of this typical Enfleurage is of Whole Orchards, Guirlandes, the perfume from Artisan parfumeur 'La Haie Fleurie Du Hameau' an intensely Flowering Bush of Jasmines in a 'Jardin du Chateau'. actually meaning 'Hameau (pl. hameaux) is the French word for hamlet (place), a small settlement'. yet then the Perfumed Impressions of Jasminoides and Damascener Roses under the Provençal or South African or Caraibbean Sun. the Mimosas are powdery, fluffy, pollen-laden, unforgettable and willing to share with the other Ladies and Mesdames de la Nuit ... an Highly Dramatic and Impressive, Superpositioning perfume. well now all has been said and Nathan86 already also shared his unique and elegantly worded impressions.
