Review of Mira-Bai by Marta Regina Jabłońska

Wearing this fragrance, I wanted to be seduced by enveloping vanilla, to fall in love with glorious vintage elegance. I wanted to sigh with longing for the good old school of perfumery. Yet the composition turned out to be a distant echo, more an afterimage behind closed eyelids than a glimpse of the warm, glowing spark of Chopard's Gloria. The notes blend smoothly and harmoniously, creating a composition that is complex, yet pale. The sweetness brings to mind fruits that have dried out, acquiring a slight vinegary tartness, followed by vanilla that floats like a delicate veil. It feels more like a memory of a beautiful past, a door that has been closed forever. A nostalgically elegant, classic composition, feminine and beautiful, yet at the same time shrouded in sadness.
