My favorite composition from the Les Eaux de Chanel line. Intensely aromatic, it opens green and spicy. Juniper berries and cypress lend it an almost balsamic quality, evoking the crisp pungency of ginger. As it develops, the composition becomes slightly smoother, more vetiver-driven and woody, warmed only delicately by nuances of vanilla. In descriptions, it is portrayed as a tweed jacket borrowed from a man. To me, it is more the scent of a naturally sensual woman wearing a white shirt borrowed from the man she spent the night with. The sillage stands out among the other fragrances in this line, while longevity is similar. A beautiful, captivating, compelling composition, yet at the same time one that evokes an aura of relaxation and calm.
