A very simple composition, yet imbued with the irresistible charm of Chanel. The opening is distinctly cologne-like: fresh, tart, sour, crisp, and bitter citrus notes, juicy and presented in all their glory. They gently give way to lily of the valley, but not the strong, suffocating or indolic kind. These are shy little flowers growing in a woodland clearing among dew-covered greenery. The fragrance is initially vivid and refreshing, then becomes quiet, gentle, and delicately fresh. Elegant and beautifully refined in its simplicity, it carries the charm of the French countryside.
