A majestic creation that reveals the greatness of the House of Chanel. The citrus notes in the opening are exceptionally fleeting, like a gentle reflection of sunlight filtering through the leaves and falling upon a magnificent lion. Labdanum lends the composition deep, resinous nuances, evoking the rich, amber-colored fur of this majestic animal. The fragrance is warm, slightly animalic, with a camphoraceous, balsamic character. As it develops, it acquires a touch of enveloping vanilla sweetness, while the blend of musk, sandalwood, amber, and patchouli preserves the gravitas of a composition that can only be described as powerful, regal, and magnificent. The sillage is strong, and longevity is exceptional. The flacon is a work of art, as are all those in this line. A powerful fragrance whose strength seems to pass on to the woman wearing it, imbuing her with the unmistakable magnetism of Chanel.
