Tart grapefruit in the opening introduces a distinctly masculine, cologne-like character, while lychee lends the composition a sweet, feminine touch. This marriage of contrasts is full of character, somewhat frivolous and delightfully spirited. As the fragrance develops, it gains a little more depth and weight from patchouli, accompanied by the subtle greenness of vetiver and very delicate florals. Vanilla gently smooths the composition, keeping it far removed from dessert-like gourmand territory. Gradually, the fragrance becomes calmer, settles like a delicate veil. Modern, yet retains the unmistakable charm of Chanel.

this is a special, fabulous perfume. you can immediately smell as well the similarities as also the differences with the Original Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and also Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense. but isn't that the whole point of launching a new perfume ? it should have similarities with the Unique 'DNA' of Chanel, with the perfumes that were its ancestors, yet also have enough FIZZ to stand on its own. with Matthieu Blazy now at the helm as Executive Fashion Editor it is only fitting that he also tries to drive his new insight through to the 'Chanel Beauté' division. although the Polges and now and then, Christopher Sheldrake, have the reigns there. and they (Father & Son Polge) certainly know how to continue the High Quality of Perfumery to the same levels as this famous Maison de Parfum always handled. foremost by using Exclusive -Grasse Flowers and aromamaterials. I can immediately smell the new tenacity and the Fronting Superbe Roses, Fruits and Patchouli with Jasmine, Vanilla & Vetiver in backening roles, eversomuch relevant yet supportive. it has a still fresher Champagne-like FIZZ, the hallmark of Coco Mademoiselle à Toute Courte. it is a sophisticated, refined yet also present perfume reminiscent of all her anciennity while also rejuvenating a possible new path for a younger Clientèle. and I belong to the old People still loving this fantatic and extatic perfume. (I also love the new No19 Edt & the new No5 Edt.) (other) for me this is a fantastic perfume. I have (and had) the Coco Mademoiselle soit, the Coco Mademoiselle Eau Privée, the Coco Mademoiselle Edp Intense. I love them all. and with the new Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu it was love at first sight. (smell) I am a Rose person and for me this is an Opulent Rose Perfume. maybe it is facilitative that I am anosmic for Fruits, here I smell a certain Fruitiness but I never succeed to discern (for instance) between the Lychee and the Grapefruit. what I am super sensitive about are Flowers in perfume and here we find a Super Sophisticated duet with Roses and Jasmine. the Patchouli is strongest in the Edp Intense. here it is sort of mingled with the Vetiver. but I honestly can not make a Gent's scent of it. the Roses keep calling and dancing. I can smell the Jasmine too. the Vanilla gives a soft Finale. Chanel has never let me down and Father & Son Polge are brilliant perfumers. the Artwork of Bottle, Label and Box is fenomenal. I am truly in love with this perfume. (the 69 years old Dutch Queer.) new (sep 2026) the perfume still imposes upon me as an exceptional perfume of Roses & Champagne. now I can give a more detailed review to this sizzling and effervescent perfume. what I foremost smell is Roses de Mai & Jasmine de Grasse, the Classic Chanel combo. yet due to reading a lot of reviews and let myself sink in its irrepressable vapours I can say the Patchouli & Vetiver play no second Violin. last night, in bed with my pulse glued to my nose (it was a comparative study !) suddenly I smelled an odd Note which I can decribe best as a kind of Green, a hush of Woodiness and something I didn't expected. and I suppose it is here where some people have checked out. (it sits fairly in the begining.) yet it is more of a Phantom Smell and lasting a Shadow of a Moment. before it get's swiped up again in the Dynamics of the perfume primarily, for me, the Roses, Jasmine, Vetiver & Patchouli. I have a feeling the Patchouli here is more refined than in Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense, a Patchouli I can also appreciate. yet here, with the Vetiver, it summons a Woody Backbone which give a place to land for all the billowing and fleeting Accords. then this morning I suddenly sat in the most beautiful Clôche of Grapefruit. Elena Knezevic had described this so well. and where I usually do not smell any fruit at all, now the Grapefruit came thrifting above like an Mediterranean Orchard Breeze, deliciously fresh and acidulous. the Lychee goes by me. I smell the perfume still from a Sample. I noticed an odd description of the perfume. when flapped open the perfume is called "Coco Mademoiselle Chanel Paris". without suffixes. then you see the flacon imagined with the black label so you know it is the 'Crush Absolu'. on that flacon one can barely see the more elaborate naming 'Crush Absolu' (in 'Gold' Font). I think marketing-wise, the Experts at Chanel thought that if the customers are still needing to learn something about the perfume these 'omissions' were deliberate. but the ambiguousness of the name is here to stay. I can only say this is a Somptuous, very Distingated perfume of Roses, Jasmine, Patchouli & Vetiver with a remarkable Hesperidic opening. the Vanilla adds to the Opulence. it is a brilliant perfume.
